A few years ago I painted my garden of red coleus with dark green leaves of yucca and hosta after coming home from California where I visited a Spanish section of LA. The yucca and deep colors and bright sunshine reminded me of the West.
The" tiger lily" watercolors were painted last year. They are blooming right now again in a garden right outside my front window and will continue into August. The lighthouse was done as preparation for an airbrush painting and is a combination of a couple of lighthouses. It is most like Stag Harbor light in Massachusetts.
